After leaving her home in Abalathia's Spine, Towering Elm found work as a mercenary bodyguard wherever she could; from accompanying sniveling Ul'dahn nobles across the desert for months on end, to acting as muscle for a single night to oversee a particularly shady business deal.Though Elm met the prospect of a 5-year-long contract with a defected Garlean engineer with some suspicion, she and the ageing eccentric quickly became close friends. Seeing her interest, and seeking a student to share the secrets of his former motherland, the old man taught her as much as he could of his knowledge of magitek while they traveled.Since his death, she's wandered the realm armed with his schematics and a steely desire to see his life's work completed - and, it goes without saying, a vast array of self-built and wildly unsafe magitek weaponry.

Elm is always looking to tinker with something she hasn't seen before. The more magitechnical or aetherological the better, but she's a perfectly serviceable blacksmith too.Someone from home?
Though she rarely goes back to her ancestral home, Elm is always glad to see a fellow Hellsguard. Perhaps it's someone she knows, somewhere in the distant past?Got a job for her?
Her work with the Scions has put a bit of heft in her wallet, but she's always after some spare cash to spend on whatever curiosity next crosses her path. She's a very capable fighter, especially if you don't mind her using the opportunity to test some new gear.
